1995
The start of my career
I started my career at a rehabilitation hospital in South Carolina, where I lived before moving to California. This was a great place to learn about everything. I also completed additional training in homeopathy a few years after my graduation from the South Carolina Medical University. It helped me get a wider understanding of techniques that can be used when traditional medicine is not very helpful. After that, I received an official certificate for homeopathic medical services, which allowed me to legally practice these techniques.
1999
Working at Family Doctor and helping the community
1999 became the critical moment in my career as well as in the history of Family Doctor. I moved to San Diego as I was offered a position of Family Physician at a local private clinic, which later became known as Family Doctor. In 2001, I started to help the local community as more and more residents and guests of San Diego referred to the clinic and its services. My level of professional knowledge helped me develop a better reputation as a physician.
2010
Seeking simpler solutions to complex medical problems
For more than a decade, I’ve cared for patients, evaluated and treated various injuries and traumas, and helped ordinary people to get rid of their diseases. I have also taught medical students and residents, and led key research and policy initiatives in 2010. I’ve lectured in academic centers and public spaces in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, and I’ve appeared on local, national, and international radio and television programs. All this became a positive experience for me as a family physician, which opened simpler solutions to health issues that are still considered to be complex by traditional medicine.
2018
The results of my work in healthcare and its appreciation
Working as a Homeopathic Doctor and Family Physician isn't just a career for me, it's a passion that I am privileged to do. And not only am I passionate about my work, I'm passionate about my patients. The beauty about this is that patients feel the same way about me as I do about them. They banded together to help me receive The Thornhill Liberal Newspaper's 2015 and 2018 "Reader's Choice Top Homeopathic Doctor" Award". When I help patients, I feel like I am doing what I am meant to do - to help people achieve wellness to the best of my abilities, with all the care, thoughtfulness, and dedication that I can give. When medical students ask why I chose this field, I look them in the eye and tell them that I truly believe that family medicine is the best specialty. It is truly so as I feel the appreciation from my patients every day. Although I applied to medical school with family medicine in mind, I knew it was the right choice for me because I enjoyed and did well in every rotation in medical school, confirming that I am a generalist. Moreover, my dedication to this profession has been awarded but the best award is still the smiles and thankful words of my clients who recommend me to their friends, relatives, and family members.
My job is to help people recover from illnesses while employing not only traditional but also alternative methods of treatment. Over the years, such approach proved to be the most functional.
